At Cauthorne Paper Company, we specialize in custom sheeting and trimming services to meet the unique needs of our clients. After slitting rolls to the desired width, we can cut sheets to precise lengths using our advanced sheeting and trimming equipment, ensuring optimal quality and accuracy.
Our Sheeting Process
Once rolls are slit to the required width, we utilize our Sheeter to cut sheets to the desired length. For lengths shorter than the minimum capacity of our Sheeter, we offer additional cutting through one of our three guillotine trimmers. This allows us to meet a wider range of length requirements with precision and efficiency.
We have the capability to sheet various types of paper and paperboard materials, including those from master rolls up to 60” in diameter. This flexibility ensures that we can handle a broad range of customer specifications.
Trimming Capabilities
Our guillotine trimmers can handle a wide range of materials, and can cut sheets to precise dimensions as small as 1” x 1”. Whether you require small, precise cuts or large sheet sizes, we have the tools and expertise to accommodate your needs.
Custom Packaging & Finishing
After cutting, we offer several custom packaging options for your sheets:
- Ream wrapping
- Boxing
- Bundling
- Palletizing
We ensure that your sheets are properly prepared for efficient storage and transportation.
Precision Tolerances
- Sheeter: Tolerances as tight as 1/8”.
- Guillotine Equipment: Tolerances as tight as 1/32”.
This precision ensures that your sheets meet your exact specifications, no matter the project size or complexity.
Custom Paper Sourcing
In addition to sheeting, we have access to a variety of specialty papers, which can be purchased pre-cut to size or in stock sheets, which we can then trim to order. If you need something unique, we can handle custom orders as well (see Custom Services).
Inventory Control & Traceability
Our inventory control system tracks each skid of raw and finished sheets, ensuring traceability from receipt to delivery. Each order is monitored for quality and efficiency every step of the way, giving you confidence that your materials are handled with care.
